XYZ Component constraint

Heelo guys, can anyone help me with a little issue, I have an assembly which has components mated to a radial surface, I need to locate the center of a round slot against an axis, I have X Y coordinates, how can I constrain that part to those X Y coordinates? Thanks in advance!!.

Attached is a picture of the assembly.

I would use Assembly Constraints instead.

Pattern Workpoint (or other logical feature in the shaft part).

Component Pattern in the assembly.

Attach your assembly here if you can't figure it out.

I think there is a similar example in this document

If I understand your issue correctly, I have had more luck using this command when it comes to situations like yours.

I prefer logic.

The OP needs to clarify the problem statement through active discussion.
