Since we can re-arange components again in the assembly browser,
it would be nice to have a browser addin that would add some sorting
options to the RMB menu.

Also would be nice to be able to rename a component in the browser window and
actually be able to tell IV to also change the filename to match the name in the
browser window.

Yes, you can reorder the browser once again. It is just like it was before
(manual).

An option to be able to choose what you want in the balloon, I have added a
"DET" in the Customs of the .ipt And when I balloon the assembly I want the
Detail Number in the Balloon not an ITEM number. This needs to be allowed to
be set in the Standards of that .idw not having to select each balloon, we
need it for all balloons.

The ability to add information from the Comments of an .ipt file. Example:
When I create a Cylinder part I place the Bore and Stroke and other
purchase information. It would be nice to place this information next to the
balloon. That is a drafting standard.....

The ability to change the path of the file that is used when creating an idw
this would really be friendly when you have a detail that is similar to
another one with few changes.

The ability to make a BOM by telling the path. This would work great when
you have a large BOM and you need to have it on a separate Sheet but don't
want to have the assembly in that file. (This would make the BOM workable
because of file size)

The ability to pull the scale of a created view into a Format Field Text.
Will be handy to have so that you always know that your scale in title block
matches the scale of the views.

You know you can use a sketched symbol for this?

Even if you do, I agree with you. I'd also like to see more flexibility in
ballooning.

Yes I do. But even if you have a Custom Field in an .ipt and in the symbol
you have the text pull the Custom Information it does not come in. I have
tried this already. I have also read a post from someone at Autodesk has
even mentioned that it wont like that.

I just thought of another one. I would like to see the "Measure Distance"
command enhanced. The colored Direction Arrows looks good at the bottom of
the screen but I would like to see the "Position" color coded in the
"Measure Distance" Command to match the colors in this Icon.

While you're wishing on this particular star....it would be nice if we had a +/- indicator on the XYZ distance, so that we can tell which way it is offset.

I tried this and it worked.

See CF for IDW and IPT. I'll post them under the same title. Posted a
little something for the surfacing guys as well.

Roll down the EOP marker on the part.

Of course I may have completely misunderstood what you wanted.....

In the end what I would like is... The ability to choose what field to use,
not it default to Item everytime and not have to use a Sketch Symbol........
