why can't I project a work axis into a sketch in an .idw document?

Hello,

I have a drawing of an assembly, and there is a work axis in the assembly which I included in the drawing. I want to draw a sketch in this drawing document and use this work axis in the sketch. I can not project it. Why? Is it possible to overcome this problem somehow?

Thanks

Daniel

Make sure you have the view selected when you create the sketch.

As far as I know, you can only project model edges into a sketch attached to a drawing view.

You can include a work axis from the model in the drawing view, but there is no way to project it into the sketch that I know of.

Just tested it; I guess your right. I must not have ever needed to project work geometry. I tried a work plane, too. No luck there, neither.
