What would be the best way to make this?

My name is Nick, and I am turning some old 2D models into 3D models. I am attempting to make this part with louvers (vents) that I cant seem to figure out a good way to create them in the part. The material is 16 gauge aluminum or 0.05 in thick. attached is the dimenstions for the part, all dimenstions are in inches. Also seen below.

Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

side note, the edges all taper off.

Hi nandriola,

You can find an *.ipt file at this link that will provide a good example for you to follow:

http://www.cbliss.com/inventor/iFeatures/Louver.zip

Note that when  you open the *.ipt file you will need to click and drag on the End of Part marker to expose the existing features.

You might want to create this as an sheet metal punch and add it to your punch library.:

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
