What makes sens ! ? in IDW.

Hello you all out there.
Here I sit like normally and hoping for someone at Autodesk to have hickups.
In Inv6 you can create one IDW file with many sheets.
Hurray now you can have many IPT parts, make IAM of that, derived that into
part then you have a part containing your IPT parts from your IAM.
So now I have assembled part that I can take the last cut on with all the
parts in place.
Then I make IDW drawing, take my derived part into it. CanĀ“t dimension it
(HMMM.)
Well can live with that and find a way around that somehow.
Make new sheet and put my parts in it, and think one sheet 5parts (thats
what is needed in the final design). Well now I want a parts list of these 5
parts. NO thats not possible one PART one PARTS LIST. So what do I get 5
Parts list starting with part number1.
Instead of one part list from 1-5.

Do anyone out there know about a workaround for this.

And one must think about what is happening with AUToDESK. Do they have
people that understand what the market is doing.?? and for What this product
is used for.

Please forgive me if I am wrong.

Keep up the GOOD WORK.
Raggi.

I have separate ipt's and idw's for each part. I make an assembly of these
parts (iam), and make an idw of this iam. The part list in this idw
reflects all individual parts.

To answer you question or questions, you need to clarify.
To get a parts list, you need an assembly -- iam
When you make a derived part you get only one part if you ask for a part
list.
If you still want a part list of the derived part, you have to get it off
the iam that made up the derived part. Keep the iam off the paper border
and get the parts list there.
Hope I answered some of you questions!
You need help with you English. No offence.
