watermark

Hello,

I would like to place a watermark on my idw's. For example a text "For
Internal Use Only" placed from the lowerleft corner up to the upperright
corner of the border on which I then place the views. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Jos

I know some laser printers (HP) have this possibility in their drivers.

Make a sketched symbol with a huge textstyle and a very faint grey color and
insert it manually.

Make it part of title block. Then You will not need to manually insert.

Print it on the paper first then run it back through when you need it with
your prints. I put a short cut for my PDF file on my desktop. If I need to
include text information, I just double click and reprint on the first page
of my prints. I print 11x17 layouts on 8.5x11 a lot for faxing. That gives
me unused space at the top and bottom.

Have you considered printing to legal paper then faxing. This will
recover the unused space top and bottom.

You could make PDFs and add the watermark with acrobat.

I would have to check to see if the customer had legal in his machine every
time I faxed. Anyway, I like the extra space. I can use it for my notes to
the customer or disclaimers. Like sub titles on wide screen movies.

P.S. Not a bad idea otherwise.
