Visual Style. Shaded with edges

I save the part with "Shaded with edges" style, then open. And it is only "Shaded" as before.

Does anybody know how to save the part with "Shaded with edges" style?

Hi Yuri,

if you like that style always you can go in :

Tools > Application Options > Display > Use Application Setting > Setting > Visual Style Shaded with edges > Ok

To note that it now is active you new to close and open Inventor, from then that visual style will be always active.

I believe there was a topic on this recently, it comes down to either your document settings or the application options.

If you have your application options set to use the document settings, you can set the style with:

Tools > document settings > display appearance

Document_settings_style.png

If you have the application options set to use the application options, it will override any document settings.

You can set that at:

Application options > display tab > appearance settings

If you want that visual style only for that document, you can go :

Tools>Document Setting>Standard>Display APparence Setting>Visual Style Shaded with edges> Ok

No worries, mine took a bit longer to set up because of the images. 😉
