Your problem isn't very clear, but for visibility toggles you can do multiple things like:
Right-click on the part in the browser and select "visibility" from the menu. or Right-click on a part in the view window and select "visibility" from the Radial menu.
(Guessing you're on a version that has the Radial menu and you're just overlooking the option, if memory serves it's in the lower right hand corner.)
