Views on multi sheets

I could have sworn IV was able to do this but I can't recall how and can't seem to find it.

I have a need to call out secondary type views (sections, details, cutaways, etc) on the first sheet, in the main views and then have the actual detail views on the second or third sheets.

Any clues?

In the browser, click and drag view to new
sheet.

It should work. First create a 2nd sheet, then create your "secondary" type view on the sheet that the parent view is on. In the browser drag the secondary view from one sheet to another. During the drag make sure you see a black horizontal line show up at the bottom of the sheet you're moving it to before you let go.

There we go! Thanks. I wasn't able to get it to work. I didn't get any kind of sign, no "black line", no black circle with the line thru it, nothing. I rebooted and came back in and now I can do just as you mentioned.

Thanks.

I think you have to be active in the sheet you are
dragging from for it to work right, Jerry.....
