View definition is not saved

I have been seeing this for awhile... its hit or miss.  I have been ignoring it, but for some reason its really getting on my last nerve.  When I rotate my part/assembly to my "front" view, then right click on the view cube and select "Set current view as >Front".  Now if I rotate to some other view orientation, and then click on the "Front" view on the cube, I expect it to return back to what I just saved.

For whatever reason, that does not work.  The view rep is set to "Default"

Watch this video.

How do I get it to save the view?

Kirk

Check your View-Cude Options, possibly your "Fit-to-view" is deselected.

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

Dear Karthur1

You could also try to "restore defaults" settings of view cube options.

>> right click on view cube >> options >> restore defaults >> ok >> save

I hope that will help

Best regards
