Video Card Choice - again!

Hi,

I know you've already dissed both of these graphics cards - but I too only
have the option of these two cards the ATI 9800 pro or a Nvidia Geforce4 FX
5200.

I'm just starting to learn how to use Inventor but would these be ok as a
starting point untill i get up to full speed?

Cheers

From the viewpoint of the vendors, both of these cards are NOT marketed to
CAD users. If you run into any driver problems, you are on your own. Both of
these cards have limitations, especially in the number of OpenGL windows you
can open. They may also have other problems.

With the above warning, I would go for the Nvidia card, knowing that if you
have trouble, you may have to throw it away and buy a supported (by the
vendor) card.

John Elliott.
