VB add in on XP 64

I can use the simple add in sample from the VB directory on XP32. However, when I try to use it on XP64 I don't see the add in in the add-in manager.

I have called regsvr32 and merged the .reg file - but nothing is listed.

Can VB6 add-in's be used on XP64 with inventor 2008?
