Vault missing from drop down but not missing from ribbon.

Okay, so, I am having an issue with Vault inside of Inventor. I can open Vault Basic Client, perform actions inside VC; The Vault add in is loaded in Inventor and I am able to log in/log out of Vault in Inventor, however, the Vault selection located in the drop down above the model tree is missing and the check in/check out options in the ribbon are greyed out. The only selections that I have in the drop down is: Model, Representations and Favorites. I have double checked my project file (in which everything did work correctly a couple weeks ago) and performed a repair on VC, but still it's not working.

Anyone have any ideas?

Never mind the previous. If I opened a file from Vault (instead of Inventor), it corrected the issue.

wrong project file being used can cause this
