Valid License could not be obtained

What's going on with the error? Is our school's network or server containing Inventor down?

did you check and see if there are any inventor 2012 licenses in your license file?

i would start there

I'm not at my home computer. I'm using a desktop in our school's computer lab. So how would I verify that

you would have to talk to whoever has access to your license server to verify
