Useful Graphics Glitch

Inventor 2014, whilst doing a section thru an assembly I came across this graphics glitch which is actually quite useful as I can see inside the part.  Is there a way to do this with viewing tools?  Top glitch, bottom normal

Not sure if it's possible to use a clear section bitmap, but you could try the method described in this topic:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-general-discussion/how-to-change-texture-for-section-view-iam...

Maybe if you use a bitmap with the "&" sign, it will also be clear and make you able to view the inside...

Yup,

A clear .pgn works,

will stick with a standard cross hatch though.

Another option might be to -

Split the part

Delete the face

as the last two features

then drag the red EOP back above these two features when done viewing (or delete them).
