I'm trying to create a core and cavity from a part created from one body of a multi body part. When I try to open it in the mold design file I get this message:
The base part is in the same project path as the part in question. How can I fix this unresolved reference?
This is a Derived Component.
You did not attach the original, so of course we get the same error.
Did you move the original to a different location using Windows Explorer?
They are in the same folder. The two files are attached.
What is the purpose of all of that adaptivity?
Sketch2 is just a simple centerpoint rectangle?
You can have associative geometry without cross part adaptive sketches. Well I just realized that this would take a bit of time to show how I would have done the design.
At this point I think I would save it out as STEP to kill all problems with associativity.
If I was doing the work myself, it would either be that or start over from scratch.
Sketch 2 has reference dims to the circuit board which has to fit into the enclosure. I just projected the edges of the board for reference.
Best suggestion would be to remove the adaptivity. Break the links to avoid this.
