Running a dynamic simulation on a linkage. Using an imposed motion at a contanst velocity on one of the asembly joints.
In looking at the results I'm seeing a driving force listed as an output for that joint - Is this the required force to turn the linkage ? If so what are the units of this imposed force ? Is it Torque in ft lbs or torque in in lbs ? Or is it some type of other force unit ? I just specified a constant velocity, there are no force units on the imposed motion.
