Unit of Measurement/FEA

Hi,

 

I would like to ask for help what are the unit of measurement is being used inside the red box portion (pls. find attached file)?

 

Is also Inventor FEA analysis considers elongation?

Q1. Inventor does not use those values in FEA.
Q2. No/Yes/Maybe At least not the way I think you are asking. Post your file here. You can get displacement, but I suspect you are asking something different.

Dear Mr. Mather,

 

Thank you for replying, but could you pls. identify the unit of measurement (e.g. linear expansion unit = microm/ (mc) what does mc means here?).

 

For my question no. 2, what does it use during the FEA analysis? Is it using all this information on the physical properties or it's just using Yield and Tensile strength during simulation?
