Unit mismatching

I'm having Unit problems and mixing and matching them in Inventor for example im trying to use "asin(1.5 * sin(d18))" and it gives me this warning about type mismatch. Does anyone have a good web link on how to handle this bizzare approach to units in Inventor?

what are the units of d18?

what are the units of this current parameters (with the equation) Unless
they are degrees it will fail the way you have it written. If they are in
degrees for example works just fine.

asin(( 1.5 ul * sin(d18) ))

asin returns degrees and expects unitless
sin returns unitless and expects degrees

see my tutorial on Introduction to Functions for more info.
