Turn off work plane visibility in an assembly

I have an assembly that was generated by Pro/E. It opens fine, but there are roughly 1000+ planes that are all visible. Is there a way to easily shut these all off whithout having to do it in each part?

Hello,

but what if I just want only particular planes, for example I need to see two planes, but I can only turn on, or turn off in simple way whole planes... In this way planes start to be almost useless in larger assemblies...

Anyone have any idea how to easily turn on only planes that we want ?

Did you try loading the "mind reader add-in" ?

Turn them all off then just individually turn the ones you want back on..

Hi b.k.navic,

The View > Object Visibility tools that  *Blair Stunder mentioned above, are a dsiplay override for the objects selected, and therefore will preclude the use of the right-click Visibility option. The result, as you've noticed, is an all or nothing situation.

To work with individual workplanes, you can use this iLogic rule (see link) to set the visibility of all work features off at the component level, and then turn on just the ones you want at the assembly level.

I think Autodesk have changed the API, or something. the Rule does not work anymore since we upgraded from 2013 to 2014.

Can you make the rule work again? we use it alot, so we were kinda sad when we found out it didn't work anymore.. 😕
