Troubles with IDW

My inventor 2014 will not even open idw, wether its one that I have already created or a completely new one with no parts linked to it yet.

Did this just start happening on an existing installation or is this a new installation. If it's a new installation, did you follow all the pre-requisites for a new installation. If it's Win8 or Win 8.1 have you installed all the required SP's and updates for the SP's. We need more information than just Inventor 2014. Hardware spec's would be nice to start with. Operating system on your machine, we don't know if it's Windows, what version of Windows or even if it's an Apple O/S.

Its Windows 7 and I have already installed all updates available.  I have had inventor on this computer for a few months now, and the problem just started occuring today.  Every time I attempt to open an IDW, inventor does not respond and closes.  I cannot do a system restore nor reinstall

Try logging in as a different user and see if the problem persists.
