Trim/Extend

I'm not sure whether this should be posted here or in the ideastation.

 

When using the frame generator's trim/extend command, if the length to be removed is greater than what remain, IV will remove the wrong half of the member.  Is this an issue with me or IV?

Inventor problem. Do a Lengthen/Shorten to make the length difference the other way around and then do the Trim/Extend.

Huh.  Thanks, Brendan.  I ran into this a couple weeks ago, wasn't quite sure what was going on.  Never thought to try the lengthen-shorten first.
