To see tutorials "Install Latest Flash Player"... but still not working

I'm trying to watch the tutorial videos, but I get a message "Install the latest flash player" which I do, and Adobe confirms it has been install, but I still can't get the videos to show. Even after shutting the computer down and restarting.

That is the one I have installed, exactly the same version number. And it does not work inside the Inventor tutorial files. 😞

have you tried a different browser? Also what browser are you using?

The "browser" is the one which Inventor launches when I click on the tutorial video icon, also inside Inventor. The error message is inside a window apparently also inside Inventor.

It does not look like a normal browser, just a blank grey window with error message at the top.

Sorry, I thought you were watching the video tutorials in the wiki help section,

ps- it is always good to give a full description of what you are trying to do, what version of Inventor and what PC specs you have, however, after trying to watch the videos in Inventor Pro 2014, I am too running into the "update flash player",

I updated flash player and did a complete reboot as well. Issue is not resolved. So I don't have a solution, but at least I can replicate the problem.

Yes, you are right, I should have done the thing you did, a screenshot. Next time!

Now hopefully someone from Autodesk will notice this and address it... I think there is a way to report bugs, but I am not too sure how...

The tutorial video's are working fine for me, but i noticed i have 2 flash players installed when checking my software list for the version.
These are:
The latest one; Adobe Flash Player11 Plugin v.11.7.700.169
But also; Adobe Flash Player10 ActiveX v.10.0.45.2

Not sure if this information helps, but i did find it a bit curious...

I do recall checking out these videos in Inventor 2013, but didn't bother checking out the 2014 ones until I read this post.

I am stumped as well, did a hard reboot twice also, and nothing.

Maybe I will install that new update 1 that ware just released, it doesn't say anything about the videos, but maybe it will tweak something in the software.

It may be a corrupted install, but I would advice that you got the Abobe Acrobat website, down load the un-installer that they have and re-download acrobat viewer then once you have run the nu-installer re-install.

Second possible cause is it may be a registry problem, for this MS has a fix on there website that will fix this.

Third  possible cause that comes to mind is that there may be a clash with another viewer on your system but that would possibly show in the error message,

Also part of the problem is with the MS errors they very basics and  just do not give enough diagnostic information so the same or similar message may appear for several different reasons or cause.

What happens if you follow this link http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Inventor/enu/2014/Videos/Assemblies ?? This is to one of the WikiHelp tutorials. If it runs then the problem is with the link with in inventor. I thefore suggest that you go to the inventor updates and see if any Service Packs or Hotfixes have been issued and install ALL those that apply to you product. This vidio works OK on my system so ther is no problems with Adobe Falshplayer.

I've sent a bug report via an Autodesk online form. Let's see what they say.

Any solutions ?

Closest thing to a solution is to watch the videos here: http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Inventor/enu/2014/Videos

I don't know if they are the same videos or not...

Came into office this morning and was prompted for a flash update on my workstation, it reminded me of this thread. So after installing the new update - 11.8.800.94 off adobe website, I checked the tutorials in Inventor and they work now?!?

I had this problem also. It seems it happens if you are using non-IE default browser. Although you have installed flash player, the tutorials don't play properly. Using Inventor 2013.

I solved it by installing Active X flash player for IE by goining to Adobe site. Choose appropriate OS and in Step 2. Choose Flash Player for Internet Explorer. Restart the Inventor just in case.

I hope it helps, it worked for me.

Hi!

My problem is, that the tutorials are entirely missing!! In the attached picture you see my Get Started -> Welcome screen. I have deleted the program and installed it again, still nothing. I downloaded all the tutorials from the Autodesk homepage and extracted them to the specified folder yet still, they are nowhere to be found.

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit.

One of my colleagues used the same installer and he has access to the turotials.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution?
