Do you mean your file has never been resolved and there is no way to fix it?

This happens if you select the wrong location for the placeholder file
when you first create the file. It happened once here to one of the
users. We have never been able to stop it from happening whenever he
works on the file.

We have stopped it from ever occurring again. When we first create a
file, we save it directly to the folder we want it stored in when it is
check-in. In doing so, IV automatically checks out the file to our
workspace.

I was referring to the check-in issue. Having created a location via
the placeholder, whenever the file is worked on and checked back in, it
always went to the wrong location.

I just remembered we did figure out a way to solve the resolve issue.
After moving the files to their correct folder we then opened the top
assembly again, when it requested the location of the files we selected
'skip', we then did a replace part on the sub-assembly (or part). From
that point on the resolve issues went away.
