a problem with keeping drawings consistent. I will try to explain what I am
doing and see if someone can shed some light on my problems...
Example. I
have an assembly file with the different machines A,B and C etc. I create a
drawing of this file, turn the visibility of machine C off and detail the
connection of B to C etc. If I now go and edit machine C, add some bolts etc
these new parts show up in the drawing even though machine C had its visiblity
turned off....
Is this how it is meant to work?
I would have thought
that as the bolts were in a subassembly of machine C they would automatically
be invisible as well. Every time a make a change to any machines I have to go
through all of my drawings and make sure that new components don't keep
appearing.
Also having some 'heap' problems when trying to turn the
visiblity of these new components off, but that probably deserves another
message...
Any advise, suggestions, comments would be greatly appreciated.
