What is going on? There is a sudden rash of people losing their fonts.
Nothing personal but you might want to take a look around once in while. Someone else asked this question 31 minutes before you and the answer was up 27 minutes before you asked. Not to mention the dozens (hundreds?) of times this has been covered over the years. The search function was having some trouble for a while but it is back to normal now.
Again don't take this personally but, the other poster even did it better, the question you ask in the body of your post is clearly stated in his subject.

Seriously, it's amazing that the Post subject immediately
before this post was for the same problem. Don't people look at what's already

Why now? And the one earlier today was using 10 and this is 2008. Not only are they months behind most, they are also years. It makes me wonder if microsoft is doing something with fonts.
Nope. It's Inventor's uninstall process that is removing the
Font without checking to see if there is an Inventor version still
loaded.
