Text in Inventor and milling on CNC mill

How can a single line text be created in an Inventor DWG and/or Inventor 3D model? The emboss feature creates a nice looking feature in the model. However, when the drawing is created from the emboss feature it is not suitable for a single line path that is needed for CNC code.

Thank you for the reply.

Based on the latest discussion group post from 2013, there is no way to do this yet and the Product Development team has it as a “wish list item”. Do you know if the issue has been resolved in 2014?

Nope.. and no for 2015 and I'd guess no for 2016 or 17 or 18 or 19.. 

Just not enough demand for it. 

Many either add text in their cam program or sketch it in with Autocad,etc...

If you add the text in the DWG file then this "might" help..
