Telephone hand set cord

What is the best method to model a telephone handset cord?
Or... better yet does someone have one modeled already they would like to share?

Very funny. Its not for a telepnone. Cord set is used for many applications.

Hi,

You can use the coil feature to create a telephone cord. You will need
to select a profile and an axis to create the coil around.

Thank you,

Thanks, I want to create the cord so it goes from point A to point B as it will lies naturally. Not straight as in the coil feature command. I'm guessing it would be 3d sweep.

General idea of a method.
A little easier in r11, but I doubt it can be done. I tried to do something for a stapler spring recently without much success other than visual rep from a distance. (If you search here on the term stapler you might be able to find the dwf.) I would go for a texture that from just a little distance would look just fine.

Dear Mr. Mather,
As we all know that you're teaching the "other" soft, is it possible to do
this with the "other"?

Hi,
Could you take a look at the attached figure made by Cable and Harness
module in AIP?
You can find the sample files under your inventor installation path...\Cable
& Harness\Samples\Rackmount Enclosure\ if you have AIP installed.

Thanks.

I am deaf and that is why I didn't answer that phone call. Try a different number.

Cheers,
