Taskscheduler in combination with VPN connection

system win xp pro sp3
inventor 2009 SP1

For a customer I work with inventor by a vpn connection. I'am able to log into the vault with Vault Explorer and with Inventor. I wanted to check in about 70 idw's. I tried to use Taskscheduler for that issue.
After clicking Check in to vault, task scheduler prompts me to enter username password server and database. After entering this data and OK, taskscheduler returns "can't find server". The data entered is the same as entered when logging in to the vault with inventor or Vault explorer.

When logging into my local vault taskschedulur works. When my client logs into vault with taskscheduler it works as well. But when logging in by a vpn it does not.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Doesn't Adsk's AutoLoader 2009 work via VPN ?

Hi Kees Geerts,

Would you please check the time both in Server machine (With ADMS installed) and in Client machine (With Inventor and Vault Client installed)? If they're different, please change one of them to make sure they're the same and then try to log in again via Taskscheduler.

One Tip: You can log into Vault in Taskscheduler directly by going to File->Log In to Vault... after you launch Taskscheduler.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,
Macro Liu
