Hi All
My task scheduler crashes as soon as I dbl click on it, does not even go to
main window.
Is there a way to only reinstall this part of INV Suite

Thanks

Hi Wayne,

You can use the following steps to reinstall Task Scheduler
1. Log in OS as administrator.
2. Win+R to open the Window Run dialog.
3. Enter "Inventor path\Bin\RegisterTaskScheduler.exe" /install or "Inventor path\Bin\TaskScheduler.exe" /install

If it can't solve your issue, please download the attached file[TaskScheduler.mdb] and use it to replace the original file which is in the Inventor Path\Task Scheduler folder.

Note: please backup the original mdb file before replace it.

Hope this can help you.

Best Regards
-Colin

Hi Wayne,

There isn't an installer for Task Scheduler only. Please check if Scheduled Tasks of windows have any task. If there is any task, please delete them. And you can reinstall or repair inventor to fix it.

Have you replaced the mdb file? Could you tell me what task you launched before Task Scheduler failed.

Best Regards

Hi Colin

I could not download the MDB you sent it was
blocked can you maybe ZIP file it for me.

I cant get into Task Scheduler at all when I DBL
click the icon the windows error messaged comes up straight away, so I canty see
what tasks were running at all.

I have done a repair and am trying to avoid
reinstall

I have also excluded MDB files from my anti
virus

anything else i can do?

regards

Wayne

Hi

I've followed this thread and done the suggested procedure as I have the same problem with two of three machines.

I've attached a Zipfile containing error message and dump information. I've also attached the machine NFO file for all three machines.

This is a very annoying problem.

I think this is the same issue that was discussed here
http://discussion.autodesk.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=6094698ェ

But no solution were found.

Autodesk, any idea?
Thank you for your help!

Thomas.

Hello Wayne,

I have the same problem. I reinstalled Inventor2009 complete, the problem is still the same. By using a limited user- account my task scheduler works 😞

Did you find a solution for your problem?
