Table wrap

We are in the process of changed our drawing formats. We will be having an assembly drawing on an A size in portrait fomat. The front sheet will have a ISO view of the asm. The following sheets will be the BOM of the asm. On a asm with many parts the BOM is larger than what one A size can take. I would like the BOM to break and go to another sheet. Is this possible????

Not possible that I know of.
I wish it were, I have to make our "parts list" using .050" text height, then assembly people complain because they can't even read it.
and I print out on 11x17 paper

A work around might be to create a separate part list for each sheet
referencing the same IAM & make invisible items on each as needed. You might
have to create a base view "off page" so you have something to pick for
reference when you place the part list.

For example Sht 2 could have items 1-50 & sheet 3 could have 51 -100.
This requires more maintenence vigilance but it's the only way I can see to
get close to what you need.

Thanks for the advice guys. What I have done is put an iso view on the second sheet and then generate the BOM. then if it's to long for that sheet I turn the visibility of the item that don't fit off and then do the same for the next sheet and turn off the previous items from that BOM. kinda a work around but it works for now.

Thanks a bunch for the suggestions

Joe,

The enhancement request to split a parts list across different sheets in a drawing exists as issue ID #565247 with the Inventor Development team.

Is this issue just sitting on a shelf at Autodesk?

Almost half of our parts lists need to wrap to a second, third or fourth sheet. I cant understand how it is such a difficult thing to set up...

Sorry,

using IV2011, I don't suppose it is fixed in 2012?
