This should be simple enough, but I can t figure it out.
I created a table and gave it a new title in the edit styles.
In the file it resides ir appears correct, but when I copy anf paste it into another file
the title goes back to the default title "table"
How can I get it to import to the new file with the correct title?
Thanks
The header of a General table will come in with whatever name is set in your Styles Editor. Since you can place a general table multiple times in a single drawing, each one comes in with the default header title.... and has to be edited if you want something different in it. The same appears to be true if you copy and paste the table to a new draiwng.

Seems I will need to edit the table heading each time I paste it into another IDW.
Strange, even with the style set to the title I want it always pastes in with the title "TABLE"
I think I will try to change my template to have the table built in. Maybe that'll work.
I got it to work
Thanks
