512 MB Ram, 1536 Virtual Both set same, all on C:
Win2K SP2 ( It crashes all by itself sometimes... 🙂
GeForce4 MX420 64MB with NVidia 4041 Driver
2 - 40GB WD IDE 100 drives C & M not duplexed, etc., Both at 50% or less
capacity, defragged, clean Temp folder. Temp is C:\Temp
Special Settings: Pointer Shadow Off, Use Transition Effects... Off

Programs running all the time while in Inventor 6: MS Outlook 2000, AOL
Instant Messenger, Excel 2000, Internet Explorer 6, Mechanical Desktop6,
AutoCAD 2002, and other assorted software opened and closed during the
day....

Results: One crash on Beta 2, None on Build 90b. Good to excellent
performance on medium 500 part assemblies (rotation without significant
lags), Some anomalies in sheet metal - still investigating whether its a
bug or me... Otherwise, I'm a pretty happy camper with IV6.
