Surface Cutout

Hekko,

I have a part I'd like to remove a portion of a surface from, but I'm doing something wrong and I can't figure it out. I've been working on it for a while now. From what I can see, the geometry for the cut is correct, I just can't seem to get it to cut out:

The three sketches that define thearea to be removed are highlighted in the above screen capture.

Attached is the part in question.

If you have a solution, a brief description on what you did will be more helpful, for future use, than just completing the cut and shipping the part back to me... though I will not turn that down!

Here are a couple of more robust techniques for modeling the part.

There is a subtle difference between the two.

Thanks.. So I had everything already, but instead of projecting the curve onto the surface, I just due the extrude all and it's what I wanted exactly.
