Support

We just updated to Inventor 2013, had it waiting around until service pack 2 and finally got around to it. We've had a lot of problems going from 2012 to 2013 and so far I haven't been able to find good answers to our problems online. Is it actually possible to contact Autodesk for customer service? So far the phone numbers are all automated menu's and the website points you to this forum.

Thanks in advance for your help,

support is through the reseller channel

unless your on Advanced or Enterprise support contract with autodesk

other than that you have to go through your reseller first

yep.. If you are on "subscription" then you get, at the very least, the ability to submit "trouble tickets" for support help,etc.. (subscription.autodesk.com)

Some of us have phone support too..

BUT this forum is just about as good if not better than any support Autodesk employees can give.. So ask away..

Prior to migrating your files, you will need to migrate your Materials Library if you have any custom Materials. You will find a link here to the PDF on migrating this library. http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Inventor-General/Migrate-styles-to-Inventor-2013/m-p/3763990/highlight...
