Suggestion to Autodesk

In DesignSpace (FEA software from ANSYS) they have placed the coordinate
axis (tripod) at the lower corner in the view, just like IV have. But in DS
it is possible to rotate the view by click on the axis.

My suggestion is to place the exixting cube (F4 + space) in the lower corner
in a smaller verison. It could be switched on/off like the tripod is today
(appl options).

I also like the fact that it also indicates "X", "Y" and "Z" whilst hovering
over the corresponding arrow.

To clarify a possible missunderstanding,

it should be possible to rotate the view by clicking on the arrows on this
cube at the lower left or right corner.

Would you REALLY like time and money spent on this feature or would you like
them to invest that time and $'s into some more usefull features like
grouping parts in the browser, making Inventor perform better with GeForce
cards, etc?

Ron

I found this functionality really useful in other program, so my answer is
yes. I know this is a minor issue, it would be used a lot. Changes and fine
tuning, could be just as effective as other improvements, and I think most
of the programming work needed for this is already done.

Inventor have piced up the best functions from other software packages, so
why don't continue with this.
