suddenly getting phantom wireframe artifacts in assembly

I suddenly now am having a wireframe image of a part inside an assembly that shows up after I constrain the part and it moves, where it just was leaves an outline as such...

Anybody else had this happen? Never happened to me before, and the part isn't really complex.

HP Z420 Workstation

update graphics card driver to the latest from the manufacturers website..

I am getting them occasionally also. They always go away with a restart of Inventor, and I am on the latest and greatest NVidia drivers.
