Stress analysis, Force as output

Hi,

I have a Aluminum plate of 1200 x 1200 x 25mm thick. I want to find out that how much Max Load it can widthstand.

Is there any possibilty to find out thro' Stress Analysis .

When the following assumptions are true, a solution is available to get you there quickly.

Assumptions:

• failure is defined as the point at which the yield limit is reached
• the analysis has only one load/force
• the resulting minimum Safety Factor is below 15

Solution:

Multiply the current load magnitude by resulting minimum Safety Factor. The new results should bring the minimum safety factor to 1, the yield limit.
