I am Designing a new die set to bend a 2" Diameter mild steel bar.  What I am trying to figure out is how to find the right size hydraulic cylinder to to bress down on the bar to bend it 3".  The bar will be 18" long and the butresesses on the lower die will have a 14" span. Here is a picture of it

Hi Mike,

the picture you have attach is not a picture but a .iam file.

It's useless without attaching its parts. Iam file is a simple file that contain links to other files.

Before approaching Stress Analysis or customization be sure to strenghen the software basics.
