Strange Fillet

Hi all

I was playing around with some rounds on a
rectangular prism.

I wanted to create a round on 2 vertical edges that
had a radius larger than half the length of the edge between them (easier seen
than explained)

Attached are the preview and the result, and while
the preview seems OK, I would expect the round to fail before getting the result
IV gives me.

Is there a way around this, short of extruding the
profile as a cut or part of the base extrusion?
