STG_E_FILENOTFOUND ($80030002) Bug??

I have a repeating bug in IV7. NOTE: THIS MAY LOCK UP YOUR CPU 1:Open a new idw using the standard template. 2:Open the standard.idw template and edit it. 3:Close the standard.idw template. 4:Now try to close and save the new idw. I get the STG_E_FILENOTFOUND(80030002) ERROR. 5: Now try to close and not save the new.idw. I get the "inventor has generated a error and will be closed by windows" error. Now I may goto the desk at best or have a lock up that requires a power down and reboot.

Please submit that as a bug report. I did and Adesk responded that they
couldn't repeat it. I think your steps are slightly different than mine
so maybe they can repeat yours.

I haven't seen the error for a while, but that's because I know enough
to be cautious when editing any standard files.

Did you know? The same happens on ipts and iams. Usually I get an prompt
asking if I want to incorporate changes made to source document out side
of current session. Then things get ipoofy or an out and out crash to DT
(if you don't hit cancel in time, a lockup).

P.S. to the above,
This particular crash (not most others) leaves an "msiexec.exe" session
in the process list. That seems very strange.
