The settings to make a step file must be made within Catia.
They need to use 'AP203' and maybe some other settings and not the default setting which produce surfaces.
We had to get the Catia cad person to try different settings and found AP203 and some times AP214 worked.
I have only been on the receiving end of the files so I do not know all the settings. Hope this helps? Fred
