Stange dimension values displayed

I have read something about this before but i cant seem to find it and i dont know the answer. Working on a modle that was produced by another user on a different PC, when editing a sketch, the values that are displayed for dimensions are not correct, but when u go to edit the dimension the values are correct in the edit box. I have the latest graphics driver installed for my 980XGL card, i am using windows 2k and a RM PC 3gb p4 with 2bg ram. The card settings i have changed from standard are to switch the vertical sync off and installed the correct driver. I also have the correct Intel INF driver installed. Any ideas?

The answer is: Inventor needs a siesta, albeit a short siesta. Close it and
reopen IV and that should be enough sack time. It's a glitch that's been
around for a good while.

BTW ... the dims are correct, it's just a display issue.
