Square Hyperbola (inverse)

Can someone help me graph this hyperbola in inventor? I only need one curve since I can mirror the other three.

Have you tried an equation curve?

I've sketched this manually but want to learn how to do it with equation
curves.

I'm a little dodgy with equation curves, to be honest.  Fortunately, Inventor previews the result as you fiddle with the equations.  You have your choice of planar, cylindrical, or spherical coordinate systems.  My guess is you'll be using planar.  The "t" value gives the limits of the range to be generated.  (You can always prune the model later with extrusion cuts or intersections.)  Set up your equations as a function of the value of "t" to suit.  There are a wide variety of mathematical functions available, all to be found in the help files.

I figured it out. Here's the file for anyones reference.
