Splitting the horizontal spline

I have followed every direction in the wikihelp spline and surfaces portion when creating the mouse but, for some reason, every time I try to split the horizontal section I get a message saying "The attempted operation did not successfully complete due to unforeseen problems. Try with different options or inputs." But when I go to split the vertical spline it splits just fine. What can I do to fix this? Thank you.

Extend the edge of the surface.

It must completely cut the solid.

Also, Sketches 4,6 & 8 are not fully constrained.  Add construction line from projected orgin to midpoint of splines.

Can you post the url to the wiki page so that I can submit suggested clarifications.

It should be exactly the same thing - I posted the url here for others that might come across this thread in a search since you posted a path to your C drive that we are not likely to have access to.

I then posted a correction to the page, but I guess they didn't like my suggestion.
