Split solid problem

Hi!

I'd like to split Solid8 (in two) along YZ plane, but Inventor doesn't do it. I guess, there's something went wrong at the previous split, but what?

There were two tiny lumps left after the first split.

I deleted them with DeleteFace1

Not sure why it wouldn't work.

But as a workaround -

Split the part removing one half.

Now Mirror the remaining half set to create New Body.

Good catch, but OP is using 2011.  A screen capture might help.

Thank you for fast reply! I have Inventor 2015 trial too, so I could open it.

JDMather: part seems mirror to YZ plane but it is not. There's a slight difference between the two long flanges' size.
