split bodies in assemblies

i am using a split body part in one of my assemblies. when it comes to my bom

the description and  and title say they vary. how do i fix this . and wht does it say this?

dont really use split bodies alot. so its new to me.

cool that helps. but if i may ask a question about that icon? on the one that says varies? what does that icon mean? split body?

cause when i do the uncheck the box there is only one of that item?

so if there is one why would i get varied in the description and or title?

Hi! I think I understand the issue and the behavior does not seem normal to me. Could you attach an example exhibiting the behavior or send it to me directly (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com)? Or you can try open the split part -> iProperties -> Description. Is it the same as others?
