split all intersecting surfaces

is there a command or workflow to split all intersecting surfaces?  currently we build surface models and split manually or open in autocad, explode, overkill, breakall, then export the lines for rebuilding in an FE package.

Ideally we would like to export straight from inventor with one hit

There is an Unstitch command in the Construction Environment.

We've managed to cut down on the number of splits by stiching the surfaces before splitting. In this way your initial 5 splits can be done with only two (see attached part). But a script to do this automaticall would definitely come in handy...

Anyone? Please script something that does:

Select all surfaces and split them along any intersecting surfaces

EASY!
