SPELL CHECK ERROR

I get an error when trying to use the spell check. The error has to do with words standard templet, shows an interference with another file. I don't have any other MS Office file or program open, any ideas.
thanks

i never got the spell checker to work because of this error.

From memory though. i think i did get it to work on a standard text box placed on the idw as soon as it was a text box in an object like a symbol for example then i would get that error.

Bout time autodesk provided a decent spell checker......

We have one guy who got it to work, but he's using the latest version of office. I'm using 2003, i'm wondering if that makes the difference. I've only been asking since IV3.

The station set-up like that works, the ones using Office 2003 do not. I forgot to add the 64Bit when listing IV02010 version. I'm bad.

Yea my reseller has come up with that there is a difference in how word and outlook work in relation to each other in 2003 and 2007. I don't remember exactly what he listed as the differences.
So i guess that Autodesk should list that the spell checker only works if you use Office 2007 or newer. Autodesk confirm?

Ok, now have Office 2007 loaded. I have tried to use the spell checker, what's the secret? Tried to spell check my notes, can't find out how it works. Do not see how to activate the spell checker while inside of the text box and it does nothing when i click on it after i finish imputing my text. Also do not see how to do spell check inside of the iproperties box or title block. Help file has no info. I know it must be something simple.

i used it in 2010 and it worked pretty good. only problem was all my notes are upper case, seems like i had to go into office and change the settings to not "ignore words in UPPERCASE" then the spell check worked. but just like you mentioned, i click on the note and i get no indication that it's doing anything. sooooo i installed it again with 2011, click on my note, it stalls a few seconds then it's back to business as usual. thinking it's the uppercase thing again i go into office (2007) and change the setting now it just locks up my pc.

also i'm running windows 7 64 bit.

I finely figured out that it was working for my notes, but the window was behind all my other windows opened. But more important it does not work for most of the text for my assemble's parts list and title blocks (iproperties) . That's most of my typing. The upper case text box, i had turned off long ago, and is not causing me any problems.
