Spaceball / 3D Mouse

Hi Group,

My company is looking for a good "3D Mouse" to use with Inventor. Maybe "spaceball" is the correct
term. Anyway, can anyone recommend a good product? Maybe a website to look at? A phone number
to call? Can you also tell me how much one will cost?

Thanks,

Mike

We have had great use and no problems with the "400FLX". Highly recommended. All buttons are programable.

I think the 4000flx is the best one as well, but it
is among the most expensive as well.  It lists for around $500 I
believe.  Watch eBay for opportunities if you only need one or
two.

Is there a difference between the SpaceBall 4000 and a 4000FLX mentioned? I can't find a 4000FLX.

I am using a spacemouse plus from 3dconnexion. I tried both the space mouse and the spaceball and the spacemouse feels better to me. It is just an opinion, but you know what they say about an opinion. Either way, both were good products.

One in the same. SpaceBall 4000FLX is the full name.

The SpaceMouse it too touchy and the ergonomics aren't as good as the
SpaceBall. I have three different versions, the SpaceBall, SpaceMouse
and the CADMAN. The extra $100 is a worthwhile investement, get the
SpaceBall 4000 FLX.

I like the feel of the Spacemouse over the Spaceball. See if you can try them both out.
